I thought about this on the way to work today and have had a lot of coffee so bear with me

Given Trout’s very good play this season (after underwhelming but staying mostly healthy last season) his contract is no longer the total albatross it once was.

I have no real idea what the market would be as the contract takes him into his mid to late 30s

~4.5 years / $167 million remaining for our potential new OF

Sending Benintendi and his contract lowers it to around 4.5/145, which seems like a reasonable enough swap for both teams. Would we need to include a lower levek prospect?

Would Angels pick up more of Trout’s salary? Can I at least daydream today about this
