No itching, but looks like a bite?

Noticed my Scottish Terrier (2,F) had a spot of blood on her back earlier today while brushing her. No odd behavior, no change in diet, no known allergies, no use of new products on skin. I don’t know if this could be a bite or a reaction from a hot spot? Or something completely different.

I cleaned the area the best I could, she’d flinch while I’d try to clean the scab stuck to her fur. Applied triple antibiotic ointment on the affected area in the meantime. Not in an area she can reach to lick or irritate the location.

Photos of the spot, approximately dime sized and with some hair loss on the area? Her skin looks odd in my opinion, but I just need to know if this is something I should be concerned about and go to the vet first thing in the morning or if it’s something that I can help heal on our own.
