About to see their Syracuse show, exciting!
Eating at a local pizza place then heading over to the show, hopefully someone sees this in time! I saw them years ago in Connecticut and I got a picture with ben.

The game is unplayable for me now, fresh install, no mods and followed the clean up algorithm post and the game still randomly gives me the blank Fatal Error message. I have my crash log and I need the devs or someone else to look at it and tell me how to fix it.
I deleted all mods and reinstalled the game and even on vanilla I'm getting constant Fatal Errors. I don't know what to do and its driving me crazy. Some times it says Error 1241 and Canary but most of the time it just says Fatal Error and crashes.
In mercs I basically just design my mechs to be useful for me and it probably limits their usefulness to my AI Lance. Is there anyway to build mechs I'm not going to use so they're more effective for my ai?
I was just listening to the Kestrel Lancer cutscene again and they said "as God as our witness" in it. Is religion a big part of their culture? I don't think I've heard of religion popping up anywhere in the other great houses but I've only played MW5 Mercs and Clans so I dont really know much of the lore. I'm gunna play through the turn based Battletech game soon also.
When I first started understanding how to build mechs in Mercs and Clans I made a bunch of medium laser boats and it was very effective. Now I want to make unique mechs with some LRMs and especially autocannons. I fucking love just blasting with every type of autocannon. Nothing beats blasting 2 AC5s into a mech continuously. I don't really like LRMs they feel weak and miss a lot of their rockets but autocannons are the best. All hail autocannon supremacy.
I like flamethrowers in games and I was wondering if there was any mechs besides light mechs in Mercenaries that use flamers effectively? I wanna walk around in a heavy/ assault mech and burn the world :)
I just found this sub recently and Royal Road and it seems to be the place to find RFM stories. Can anyone share some tips on how to use the fllter and tag system to find RFM stories on RR?
How long do you think most big mods will be down? Should I start a vanilla career to get to the new dlc or just wait for the mods to be updated?
The wide open maps really change the feeling of the game and the mechs really shine with the ability to move and take different routes. It might sound silly but I also kind of have a feeling of exploration looking around the maps. I can imagine actually using the improved AI controls in the game with all this space lol. If they ever make a MW6 this is how the game needs to be, maybe some landmarks and stuff but no more just linear cliff paths. This is a massive improvement in the game.
