I got a used Terra Trike Rover last year and I have yet to use it due to anxiety (largely due to my GAD) about a bunch of unknowns. Are there any tips you can offer for navigating a downtown area?

I don't know when I should be on the street or on the sidewalk.

Even though I have a flag for visibility I am worried about not being seen because I am too low.

I am worried about looking ridiculous (especially after recently seeing the series The Burbs and a recumbent bike exactly like my own was used to make a character look odd)

I am also not sure what to wear because I am about 300 lbs and I usually wear basketball shorts but I am worried that they are just going to ride up because of how I am positioned on the bike.

I am sorry to dump all of this but I have been dwelling on it for a year and I recently had a renewed interest in using my trike because I have been playing Pokémon Go again and I want a way to get around that puts less strain on my back.
