Is this a wise choice to get into fixing espresso machines? [€30]
Hi everyone, I have been exploring and enjoying the world of espresso for a while now and I’d like to get into fixing machines also. I’ve been looking into the Ascaso dream. Fixer uppers are quite affordable here and I love the look of it.
I came across this listing, as shown in the third picture it is a 2011 model. First of all, I was wondering what the E.V. stands for in the name. Does it have to do with the solenoid?
Second of all, the listing states that it was working well, but it doesn’t turn on anymore. I don’t have any background in working on electronics, but I’m a quick learner. Do you have any advice before jumping on this? I’d love to hear from you. I hope you enjoy some good coffee today, have a good one!
