Looking for the best ball for my super chewer.
Hey y'all, like the title says, I'm looking for the best ball I can find for my dog. He's a pittie/Frenchie or Boston mix (we're not sure, he's a rescue), if he can puncture a tooth hole in it, he WILL shred it to pieces and he does not know how to spit it out. I've looked at getting him a giant horse ball but they're all pretty flimsy plastic and I know he'll pop it in seconds.
Ones we have tried: Every kong ball you can think of (red, black, big, small, ones with handles and without etc) Basketballs Soccer Balls Random big ones from pet smart that we thought he wouldn't be able to get his mouth around.
We've resorted to giving him a ball of ice every day, they're his favorite toy but it breaks my heart when it melts and he goes looking for it. We have had to have things removed from her stomach in the past because he simply doesn't know how to not eat anything that enters his mouth so the only "toy" he gets are yak cheese and they last him about 2 weeks depending on how often he wants to chew it.
I've thought of getting a wunderball but I'm afraid that the size will be small enough for him to attempt to swallow it?? I'll attach a pic for tax of my gremlin ❤️
