Honestly, people need to invest in an IO water filter, it’s getting ridiculous with how many water cases people are ordering. I would understand if you were to order One, or hell, even two, but i’ve seen people order 12 and more. I haven’t caught screenshots of those orders yet bet i’ll try to.

Guys I just started spark about three weeks ago and I finally made it. I got my first ridiculous note. I seriously contemplated returning it to the store. Let me know what you guys would have done. We’ll see if my tip actually goes up, highly doubtful 😅

I’m a pretty trusting person but this one has me a little nervous. There are 12 gallons of water, amongst other items which is what justified the tip to me but this is feeling a little bait-y

Edit: it was just a weird drop off. The door was propped open when I pulled up. I took my first load up to the door and set it down with the purpose of getting everything to the door first, then handing it all to him. He comes out while I’m returning with load #2, grabs a couple bags and as he’s heading inside he says “You did see my message, right?” And I said “yes I did! I replied as well, in case you didn’t see it. It’s no problem.” He took said bags inside and when he comes back outside I’m there with load #3 and I tell him I will gladly hand them all to him, I just wanted to get it all by the door first, and just needed to do one more trip. He tells me yes, that is what he wanted, and he just “assumed” I didn’t see it... And then he groans and scoffs about how other drivers tell him they need to take a picture first and acted like they were idiots because of it. I proceeded to hand him all of his groceries, we talked about pizza, and we parted ways on great terms.

I’m sorry if y’all think otherwise, but…. He’s gotten multiple deliveries requiring a “handoff,” can update/change his instructions at any point in time but chooses not to, and wants his groceries inside his house the second we’re at his doorstep with them. It’s weird. Fortunately for me they bought cold medicine which required ID scan and signature so I doubt I’ll have any issues, but it was still strange 🤷🏻‍♀️ thanks for participating

Edit 3, wayyy later when it doesn’t even matter: I didn’t think I was going to be tip baited on an otherwise normal delivery. It appeared to me that it was a possibility that he might say he didn’t receive his order.

I thought the "12 cases of water" posts were hyperbole. I assure you, they're not.

First order of the day, 6:15am. Bleary-eyed, I saw the list had a case of water which doesn't bother me. Easy shop, low miles, nice tip, no big deal. Scanned the barcode and boom - the horror - I needed 11 more. Fortunately, it was not a 3rd Floor apartment delivery and the customer was waiting with three people to assist in moving the cases. Has anyone else actually shopped and delivered 12 waters?!

These orders been bouncing around for a min shockingly. I know why Im not but, Im curious what would be anyone else’s reason for taking it or not

Over 3 years and 700 deliveries under my belt...never have bananas - organic or otherwise - been classified as "UNKNOWN" and the scale's QR code refused to scan. I've dealt with a LOT of game-breaking glitches...hell, 2 or 3 others just this week alone...but this is...wow.

Walmart says that it’s busy but is it because it’s giving offers like this with multiple stops or am I just not getting all of the offers that are supposedly available? 😅

I’m currently silver tier with good metrics/ratings and I’ve heard that gold/sapphire doesn’t really change much. I’m picky enough to not take the orders that aren’t worth the mileage but it kinda sucks to be sitting out here for hours denying the only offers that pop up that look like what I included. I’m currently looking for other jobs, so if something else sticks I’m planning on leaving this gig completely. I’m super jealous of people with more than one Walmart in their area and don’t live around farms/dirt roads. 🫠

(No matter where I’m at in the parking lot it doesn’t really matter and I’ve usually done the trick where I’ll turn off/refresh the app so that it doesn’t think I’m just being idle/denying offers entirely.)

Oh you shouldn’t have. No really! Man some of these are just pitiful. This one is not even $15 per hour before expenses. Like we’ve all noticed, the pain continues!
