Ordered some pantry items the other day via shipping. One can of soup was shipped from Arizona, the other can of soup was shipped from NJ and the Ketchup came from Chino, CA, everything else arrived same day delivered from store, no cancelation, no subs either, love it. All while I was watching Soccer World cup instead of running to the store.

Just checked my Utility bill, no recycling fees charged this month. Can/t find any info on the cities webpage either. No recycling/pick up at the Fort any more? Anybody knows?
Green bulk waste has not been picked up for more than 6 weeks and regular bulk waste for more than a month in district one. Someone even reported it through the stich/fix app. Nothing happens. Is public waste on strike or are they not picking up due to the high gas prices? Last year they would pick up bulk only after people called it in. Anybody knows what's going on?
So, I bought a TV at the store, and it was damaged. Since I have an online account, I entered a return online. It gave me more than a month to return the item to the store with the receipt. Today I went to the store and the return lady started immediately raising her voice, questioning when and how it happened. I told her it was damaged after opening the package and she started yelling at, me, like I was a criminal insisted I was lying since it took me so long to return the item. So, I ask her please do not yell and that triggered her even more, raising her voice to an even higher pitch. Then she refused to take the return, and I was forced to ask for a supervisor. She did not like it and then even yelled at the supervisor, who decided that I was in my right to return the item so late. . It was an experience from hell and all in front of a long queue of customers.

Last year we had quite a few times, when recycling was not picked up. This year started out with a few missed pick ups too. Now it has been 3 weeks where the recycling has been sitting out on the curb in our neighborhood and no-one comes get it.

This is just a fun post, no pun intended, but as I get older, I often think about how long I might have until it is time to jump over the cliff. When I hear Willie Nelson celebrated his 93rd birthday, I thought, well if I make it this far, then I have soo many years left. Then there is Rara Avis, Iris Apfel, the famous designer who made it to 106, and I thought well that would give me soo many years more and then there is Ted Turner who made it to 86, and that is a lot less years, if I make it this far. What is the purpose behind sellers offering merchandise with + shipping charges. For example, tried to order jeans and they offer a very very low price to come up in the search at the beginning and then they add shipping charges. Is anybody falling for this scam? Is there an explanation for this? What happens if you return an item?
When a driver delivers the order right into the home, into the fridge, how does it work? Do they have a key to the house or is the owner there to supervise them?
