Another price increase.

Coffee went up 10 oz pack by $1.50 and more, Arizona Green tea went up $1.50 and more, and what did you all notice? Owner of Arizona went public last month proudly announcing no price increase, well ya, lier.

no recycling pick-up

Last year we had quite a few times, when recycling was not picked up. This year started out with a few missed pick ups too. Now it has been 3 weeks where the recycling has been sitting out on the curb in our neighborhood and no-one comes get it.

If you have had no pickup either, here is the e-mail to contact solid waste.

10 000 households in the city paying $ 3 each month, this comes out to $ 30 000 a month if I am not mistaken. That is a lot of money for not doing your job Waste Pro.

Do you compare yourself with other people in your age group?

This is just a fun post, no pun intended, but as I get older, I often think about how long I might have until it is time to jump over the cliff. When I hear Willie Nelson celebrated his 93rd birthday, I thought, well if I make it this far, then I have soo many years left. Then there is Rara Avis, Iris Apfel, the famous designer who made it to 106, and I thought well that would give me soo many years more and then there is Ted Turner who made it to 86, and that is a lot less years, if I make it this far. How about you all do your compare yourself with older people sometimes? Let's just have some fun with this.

online ordering / add shipping charges

What is the purpose behind sellers offering merchandise with + shipping charges. For example, tried to order jeans and they offer a very very low price to come up in the search at the beginning and then they add shipping charges. Is anybody falling for this scam? Is there an explanation for this? What happens if you return an item?

When a driver delivers the order right into the home, into the fridge, how does it work? Do they have a key to the house or is the owner there to supervise them?

Have you ever read his books or attended one of his seminars? He promoted walking over burning charcoal as one of his challenges. I saw Oprah doing it, If you did, how do you feel now about it? and if you refused to do it, do you feel like a loser?

When placing an order sometimes it says, delivery within an hour. So how does it actually work? Are there drivers just sitting in the parking lot ready to jump on it? Do the drivers do the picking? If not who does? What actually is the procedure? I have seen drivers on their way dropping off 8 places before they actually arrive at our place.

Was just wondering what happens when you return an item that is defective? Will Walmart send it back to the vendor or do they just discard the item?

The other day we ordered free shipping. Some stuff was delivered from the store, some came from the hub in Davenport, and the mayo came from Texas. When it finally arrived at the hub in West Palm beach, it disappeared from tracking. Chat boy said it happens all the time. So, what could have happen? did some hungry people just eat it for breakfast? Did the driver use it to lubricate their tires? Anybody have an idea what could have happen?

So, my smart TV finally gave up, and I had to get a new one. The question is how to dispose of the old one? I don't think throwing it in the garbage is the right thing to do. Anybody has a a solution that is environmentally friendly?
