EMERGENCY—

I REALLY need to take calc 1 (specifically math 011)
But they’re all taken, and i was wondering if there was anything i can do at all so i can take it this fall.

Is there usually lots of drops before the sem starts? Is it possible to squeeze in somehow?!

Long story short, this situation is a matter of life and death for me. Calc 1 is genuinely a detriment to my academic timeline if i dont take it this sem

I really need help

As an incoming sophomore, I want to acquire a lab position, but I’m honestly stumped on how to do so.
Ive looked into potential professors, but found it to be mainly geared towards graduate students/3rd and 4th years.

So for the lowerclassmen, how does one go about achieving a position?

Trying to get into Cornell CALS/UC Davis

I want to get into animal science to eventually pursue vet school but currently situated at a Cal UC that doesn’t offer what other schools could (Merced)
3.73 GPA
ECs:
- international field research w/ sea turtles
- stem cell fellowship that covers:
-Introduction to iPSC Generation and Characterization
-Advanced iPSC Generation, Differentiation, and Characterization for Generating Vascular Models
-Advanced Characterization of iPSCs In Vivo: Small Animal Imaging

**-**Volunteering at a nonprofit animal hospital
**-**Osteoimmunology research for a yr

Work exp: (if even relevant)
4 years lifeguarding

I have all necessary classes required to even transfer but I feel like my ECs are pretty few, but very relevant to my major of choice and such. Definitely fits the narrative I’m trying to build too
