Loss of acceleration
Hello and thanks in advance to anyone that answers.
Vehicle is a 2016 ford fusion. A few days ago while my rear view camera stopped working. Didnt think much of it cause it does have 160k miles and is a decade old. Then while driving to work today the car drives perfectly normal until i get close to 50mph. Then it goes "limp" as google called it. Once I arrived at work I then noticed my brake lights would not turn off. I believe i know the issue with the brake lights which is the sensor on the pedal. However the issue is I don't have a single fault or error message. I currently have completely unhooked the battery and will hook it back up in the morning to see if that helps anything(google said it could be some errors with the computer and that would fix it). What I would like to know is what could cause my car to go from running completely normal to losing my Rearview camera, Cruise Control, Brakes lights wont shut off, Any attempt to accelerate above 50 takes repeated pressing of the gas light you was trying to goose it. Just seems weird to me that i have multiple issues just happened all at once and would hopefully mean just one simple thing will fix ti.
