Rookie question: How to approach Stalker 2 best?
So I played a bit Stalker 2 a couple of month ago, I really wanted to love the Game. I was so confident in loving this game that I pre ordered the ultimate edition. It has everything I need (in theory)
However: I played it and it never “clicked“ with me. I knew what to do, I did some quests and walked around, enjoyed the visuals but it never “clicked”, I never got sucked into the zone. Normally I get sucked into those games pretty fast (like Far Cry, 7D2D, GZW, etc: huge ass open worlds, free to explore, a bit on the more hardcorish side maybe)
I am not a huge fan of the anomalies, but I can deal with that. Still I am questioning myself if I did something wrong, maybe a wrong mindset? Should I try some mods to add some spice? Maybe a mod that removes anomalies? More tactical stuff/weapon realism (which I would love).
So maybe you can give some advise for a rookie and his first visit (second I guess) to the zone. I want to love this Game, i want to play it for hundreds of hours. But maybe I am missing something.… my plan is to check back with the UE-update and the first big DLC. But maybe I can “prepare” a bit better…
