Best way to set boundaries without being rude or a b*!?
Hallo,
My question is how do i set boundaries with my mother who got divorced from my dad(her choice) but still lives in the home and ONLY talks to my younger sis? She is very much a "I don't care what goes on in the house" and doesn't worry about the bills! So the responsibility falls on to me and my dad! No problem!
BUT when his home everything is smooth and quiet. When his out of the house she behaves like a petty teenagers! Stove is on for no reason, washing THE SAME LAUNDRY 3 times !? throwing dirty plates in the sink and no cleaning after !
She is absolutely incapable of adult conversations, for her it's my way or high way!
So when my dad leaves for long trips how do I say something or set boundaries?
She is "supposedly" searching for an apartment . But who's gonna leave a house where you don't pay bills or worry about nothing!? My dad is not kicking her out because of history/respect and as long as she doesn't start a fight with him!
I know she is narcissistic
