Faulty power supply?
Im having an issue where my pc shuts off everytime i go into a game. Hard shut off, straight to black screen and i have to press the power button to get it back on.
I can use it for web browsing and i can leave it on the league client all day no issues but the second i load into a league game itll shut down. Reanimal didnt work either, slay the spire would shut off sometimes but could get a few runs in, same with the bazaar.
Given its instantly i dont think its a temperature issue even though my gpu is hot sometimes, i dont have a temp sensor or anything so i dont think i can test that
My best guess is either faulty wiring in this apartment (it never happened at my house in virginia just 2 months ago) but the breaker isnt tripping
Or a power draw issue with the psu
5800x3d with a dark rock pro 4 cooling it
Rtx 3090
And a seasonic prime tx1000 (i think its still under warranty)
How can i test to see what the issue is though? Theres no issue just getting one off amazon to test and return is there
