The round ones are so cool but take up so much space.

Like it would be so cool if gate has a large space station monitoring the earth or surrounding planets that we could move into. Dimensional travel is possible why wouldnt they have figured out some form of space travel. I mean it is gate after all. Maybe some IS are so dangerous they have to keep them aboard away from Earth.
