Is there a type of lead that’s doesn’t leave a lot of graphite while not being too hard?

I currently use a Koh-I-Noor H2 pencil and a Staedtler K1, and I like how they leave less graphite on the paper. They feel stiffer than softer grades, so they’re easier to sketch with and don’t smudge as much, while also not scratching or denting the paper like very hard pencils can.

The problem is that I haven’t been able to find mechanical or clutch pencil leads that feel similar to the graphite in my Koh-I-Noor wooden pencils.

Are there any pencils or lead brands that leave less graphite on the paper without feeling overly hard? I prefer graphite that is firm and slightly “sketchy” rather than smooth, creamy, and dark, since softer graphite tends to smudge more and is harder to erase.

I currently use a Koh-I-Noor B2 pencil and a Staedtler K1, and I like how they leave less graphite on the paper. They feel stiffer than softer grades, so they’re easier to sketch with and don’t smudge as much, while also not scratching or denting the paper like very hard pencils can.

Trying to learn how to construct organic shapes

i’m trying to learn how to construct organic shapes, and draw from imagination. I attempted to study this spider similar to dynamic sketching but I still can’t get and it still looks flat any tips?

I’m currently working with a team on a fan game project based on Hollow Knight. I’m new to creating concept art but recently I’ve created some concepts, but they feel a bit disorganized, and I’m not entirely sure what I should be focusing on when designing environments or enemy creatures.

I’m looking to design fantasy tree city’s and creatures but don’t really know how to draw concept art of architecture or any fantasy creatures

Does anyone have advice or resources that could help with learning concept art or any critique that could help?
