Ironically enough, this is from an episode about refraction.

I found a Pacman Arcade 1Up in the dumpster of my apartment complex today. And since it didn't look completely destroyed, I decided to bring it in. I tried powering the unit with multiple power supplies with no luck.

Taking it apart though, I found this under the board of the controls as well as on the wires attached to the power and volume switches.

(Also, it smells of nothing but coffee. So my assumption is that the previous owners spilled coffee on it and that's what is congealed on the board.)
