I have a 1993 Miata manual transmission with ~97k miles. Car cranks but will not start. I am really lost. Below is everything I have tried/replaced.

Current Symptoms

• Cranks normally
• No start
• No spark
• No tach movement while cranking
• Check Engine Light does NOT illuminate with key ON
• Fuel pump runs
• Can smell fuel while cranking

Things Already Replaced

• ECU
• CAS
• ICM
• CEL bulb
• Main Relay

Things Already Checked / Confirmed

• Timing belt appears intact
• All fuses - Including ROOM
• Coil pack has 12V with key ON
• ECU has:
  • constant 12V
  • switched ignition 12V with key ON
• CAS has power
• CAS signal wire continuity to ECU tested good
• CEL circuit itself works:
  • manually grounded CEL wire at ECU and CEL illuminated normally
• Added temporary heavy ground from battery negative directly to intake manifold:
  • no change
• Spun CAS by hand with:
  • CAS removed from head
  • plugged in
  • key ON
  • Result:
    • no spark
    • no injector clicking
    • no tach movement
