Wegovy while taking Lexapro
I am not new to GLP-1, I was on Ozempic, then Zepbound and now Wegovy since April 2024. I lost 35lbs with Ozempic, then about 28lb with Zepbound. I am 37, 5’7 so being around d 150 made me feel really good.
I started taking 10MG of Lexapro in Summer 2025, and began taking Wegovy in October 2025. I was 155 the day I took my 1st Wegovy dose. Since then, my weight has steadily crept up to 172-175. I am currently back up to the 2.4 Wegovy dose and aside from the first day I take it, it’s like I’m not even on Wegovy.
I’m wondering if the Lexapro is working against it/me. This is my first time taking Lexapro or any anti anxiety medication. I hate to blame a medication, but over the last 4-5 weeks I really went hard on tracking macros (with a food scale), exercising for at least 30 minutes a day (usually 45 minutes), reduced the drinking substantially and my weight has not budged. I didn’t even get that sweet water weight swoosh.
Anyone else experience similar?
