Pain During Urination - BV?
So I recently went to a urology per Urgent Care due to a fourth UTI in 6 months, with only one UTI testing positive for bacteria.
Urology when I described my symptoms (pain at end of urination stream, lower abdominal pain at end of urination and irritated/stinging vaginal tissue post urination for the last 3ish months) referred me to my gyno for vaginal testing.
My results from my gyno came back positive for BV, everything else negative and she started me on metrogel, which I started last evening at bedtime.
My question to the ladies is: have you ever had BV present as UTI/bladder type pain? Should I not get my hopes up that this may be all my issues are?
It does not surprise me that I am BV positive with the frequent antibiotic use but I would love if all these issues resolved after the metrogel as I am looking at my wedding in September and hoping to not be a stinging mess during it.
