I sobbed the other day thinking about what's coming. Is it normal to mourn your senior pet while still alive?

I don't know if this is normal or if I'm just torturing myself, but the other day I was looking through all these old photos and videos of my now senior dog when he was younger and all the wonderful adventures and friendship we have had, and I started sobbing. My dog is still alive, very senior now, but his health has steadily declined (All age related things) over the last couple years. He still enjoys walks but many things we used to do together, he's not up for and has some dementia so doesn't always act like himself. He's lost his vision mostly and hearing as well, gets scared easily because he's disoriented. He used to look at me and engage with me more. He still enjoys cuddles but not for too long. I feel like I am mourning him in advance, I don't want him to leave me, I love him so much and he's literally my best friend.

Out of curiosity: What new Broadway show/s are you most looking to see this upcoming Fall 2026 season?

Out of curiosity : what new Broadway show/s are you most looking to see this upcoming Fall 2026 season?

I'm kind of out of the loop so I'm not sure what productions are coming and which are highly anticipated.

Are any of my fellow Millennials choosing not to have kids?

I have noticed many of my Millennial friends are choosing to not have children, which feels very different from past generations. No hate to the ones that have kids at all but within my circle of friends and the kids I grew up with only a small percentage has had or wanted kids. Let me make this clear, I enjoy kids and children a lot and I always thought I'd have kids when I was in my 20s (I had a very happy childhood myself), but life didn't turn out that way for me. I got a necessary divorce in my 30s. And at a certain point the idea of having kids stopped being appealing to me, I just wanted to follow my interests and build my career. The idea of giving up my freedom and sleep, having a lot of extra expenses in a tough economy where people are really struggling and the world is in turmoil, just sounded like a burden rather than something I was genuinely excited about. Wondering how many of you made this choice as well.

The Fear of 13 Closing Early, what other shows are at risk currently?

I just saw a statement released that The Fear of 13 starring Adrien Brody and Tessa Thompson is "Pausing Ticket Sales" for the last 2 weeks of their run. I assume this means they are closing early since when I look at ticket sales, a large part of the theater seems to be available most show nights. That's pretty sad since I saw it and I enjoyed it. The critics REALLY did it a disservice 😞 I'm also wondering post Tony Awards , as I am a little out of the loop, which other shows are now in danger of closing?

Sunset Blvd's Tom Francis has auditioned to be the next 007 aka James Bond. Thoughts?

Sunset Blvd.'s Tom Francis has apparently been auditioned to play James Bond, thoughts?

I loved him in Jamie Lloyd's Sunset Blvd! And, of course, he's a Brit. I, for one, think he's a little young for the role and green in terms of film work. I'm also a little surprised he's up for roles this big as I only know him from theater, but I guess Sunset really launched him! And he does have a lot of sex appeal even for a younger man.
