They come to me when they need help. But when I need it, I’m a burden.

I’m (32F) the “group mom”, figuratively and actually. I have a husband and a child and friends.

They all run to me when they need help or support. They call me for advice, help solving problems, emotional support. I make them food, help them, advise them, spend time soothing their sadness and comforting them. I try to be the mom I don’t have for the people I love.

But if I need help, if I'm struggling, if I need emotional support, it’s too much. My husband is my only person. But we’re having a tough go at the moment and I thought maybe I could reach out to the people I’ve been going above and behind to care for to love on me a little. But today I was told Im too much.

Why is this my burden? They all run to me. so many people run to me. I dont mind loving on hurting people. I just wish they would shown up for too.
