Cooling beans

Do you think it’s more effective to run the cooling phase for 30-45 seconds and then cool beans externally (cookie sheet, coffee bean cooler, etc) or to run the cooling phase for 3-6 minutes with heat/power on 1 and fan on 9? I have yet to get my roaster (coming in the next few days). Also, how necessary is the extension tube? Am I bound to ruin my coffee if I don’t start out roasting with the extension tube? Thanks for your feedback. I’m sure I’ll be back with 57 more questions… lol

Any healthy reefs left Hawaii?

I’ve only done off Oahu (north shore) and the reefs were completely bleached. Does anyone know if there’s any heathy coral anywhere around the Hawaiian islands? Thanks for the input.
