How to Stop Cats Eating Each Others Food Whilst I'm Out? Any Ideas Appreciated!

I have 2 rescue cats. "Coco" is the resident cat and "Pidge" I adopted in January.

I did all the usual slow introductions, scent swapping etc. and they're now fine together. I feed them on opposite sides of the room as they're both very food motivated and protective of food.

Up until now, I've put them in separate rooms if I'm out at lunchtime with a timed feeder each. But now that they're friends, I don't want to separate them whilst I'm not home.

I'm at a loss how to feed them though. If they're not separated, I suspect when the timed feeders go off Pidge would eat both as she eats very fast and is more assertive than Coco.

Does anyone have any ideas how I could manage this? We all say thanks in advance!

[Not Sponsored] I reckon I've found the BEST cat litter in the UK

I've tried SO. MANY. TYPES. of litter for my absolute diva of a cat, Coco. She's very fussy and will only accept an open litter tray, so my flat stunk and my floor was gritty no matter how often I hoovered.

I tried all different brands of clay, woodchip, paper, crystal, tofu etc. etc. and wasn't happy with any of them until (drumroll):

**"Catit Go Natural Pea Husk Unscented Cat Litter"**

It's nice and soft, clumps really well, isn't at all dusty, is biodegradable, unscented but stops the poop stink well, and amazingly it barely tracks (a miracle considering Coco seems to view kicking as much litter out of the tray as a personal challenge).

I LOVE this cat litter. I know I sound like an advert, but I promise i'm not sponsered by them or anything, I just wanted to share how good it is (and the more people that buy it, the less chance that they'll discontinue it or something!)

Does anyone else have litter recommendations?

MOXIE is our Tuxetortico of the Month!

Congratulations Moxie and u/Kasiyaza for being our Tuxetortico of the Month, Kitten Edition!

Kasiyaza had this to say about their cutie-pie Moxie "ex-feral that was super spicy". Hard to believe, as she looks so sweet! That loaf is the cutest, and u/Puddyrama commented in admiration of her adorable orange muzzle.

Thank you to everyone who submitted your kittens, we had a very hard time choosing, so many cute kittens it took us an extra 5 days (!) to reach an agreement.

Keep an eye out for next months theme announcement!
