Boolean Trouble
Question was removed due to lack of pictures. Hopefully this helps.
Simple thing, but I'm struggling to get one of the basics to work. Cube with Cylinder running through it. I want to cut out the Cylinder so I have a hole through the Cube. It removes the cube instead for some reason.
I have the Cube selected, get the Boolean feature, use the object selector in the Boolean trait, select the Cylinder, and the Cube vanishes. I have done the Cylinder Selection from the drop down menu this time instead of by just selecting the cylinder in the center to show what I'm doing.
In the tree in the top right the Cube is still an object and is still visible, but in the main window it doesn't exist. I have tried the process starting with the Cylinder instead, still deletes the Cube from the main window.
I was following a YouTube video to get a feel for Blender to get starred and I'm following the same steps he did. Even checked a few other shorts for this tool specifically, same set of steps. Some reason it's just giving me a different result. Anything I should be looking for?
