Constant Peeing - Moving
Hi! I am currently moving from a pretty small flat to my boyfriends family (5 of us overall) 2 floor house. I have a 1 year and 8 month male neutered cat (adopted 8 months ago) I'm bringing along too who has been over on multiple occasions with little previous peeing, most likely linked to a lack of litterbox on the second floor (have one now). He has never peed on anything in my flat.
However, it has drastically changed and he keeps peeing on their couch. I must note that he would sleep with me in my room every night and we did that here too but my boyfriend is a light sleeper and the cat wouldn't stop scratching the door (after over a week of ignoring it) so I had no choice but to keep my cat downstairs now where he can roam the kitchen, living room and office.
We have gone to the vet, completely healthy, and we took their advice on getting the Feliway diffuser but now my cat pees on the couches everyday even with the litterbox in there. I have decided to unplug the diffuser today to see any changes but I am going crazy as I dont want my bfs family to keep having to deal with this, it's already been over a week of this.
