Worth getting a lawyer?

29 years old, never had a job due to anxiety and depression (and undiagnosed autism) that caused agoraphobia.

I applied like 5 years ago (before I was diagnosed with autism) and got denied. Immediately went into a depressive state and gave up.

Ready to try again now that I’m diagnosed as autistic, still unable to leave my house alone without severe anxiety.

Is it worth it to get a lawyer this time?

I’ve read on here some people say they’re just a third party slowing everything down and others that say they’re great. I suppose it depends on the lawyer.

I’m easily overwhelmed or need clarification when answering questions, if that weighs in on the discussion at all.

FtM 29 | Post partial, pathology report done. Feeling weird emotionally

Found a Bosniak 3 cyst on my kidney during an unrelated ER trip, in April. Had a robotic partial nephrectomy about two weeks ago. Doctor called a few days after surgery to say it was clear cell RCC, but it looked off so they’re sending it to another lab for further testing. Second report came in today, it looked off because it was grade 2 rather than 1 as expected.
Haven’t talked to the doctor yet, just read the report on my online chart.

I feel weird; I survived cancer but I didn’t know it was cancer until it was gone. I’m scared of it coming back, but also feel a little numb.

I dont know why I’m even making this post.

Edit: fixed “stage” to “grade”

Food ideas for mostly liquid diet, no purées

I’ll preface this with I’m not actually diagnosed with anything yet, but I throw up almost any solid I eat and purées. I just thought this subreddit would be good at giving advice about liquid diets.

Okay, currently my safe foods are low fat veggie broth, saltines, instant mashed potatoes, and OWYN vanilla protein shakes. (Edit: apparently OWYN is no longer a safe food. I just threw it up for the third time in three days. Twice is a coincidence, three times is a pattern)

I’m allergic to dairy, can’t tolerate animal broths, and chocolate seems to be a trigger.

My question is, does anyone have any ideas on something else I could try. I’m getting bored of and annoyed at my safe foods.

Recipes with minimal dishes / Moving houses

I’m moving houses next weekend, and packing up most of my kitchen this weekend. What are some recipes to get me through the week, that use minimal dishes/appliances?

Below Standard - Ending a fixed price listing early

This year I fell below standard because of 9 of 14 items cancelled for out of stock.

I moved across country, couldn’t find the eBay boxes, and forgot that my time away had ended, and got a some sales. Because I couldn’t find the right boxes, I had to cancel for out of stock.

I’m pissed at myself for it, but it happened and now I need to fix it.

Not realizing how hard below standard was to get out of, I listed one item at my dollar amount cap. After doing some research, I learned that I need to sell lots of low priced items to pull myself out of below standard.

So, my question is, if I cancel this high dollar fixed price listing, will it make my situation worse?

Also, any advice for improving my rating would be appreciated.

Viability of starting out seriously selling near the end of 2026?

I’m thinking about getting into buying lots (4,000 cards and up) and selling singles, sometime this year.

I’m not new to reselling; I was selling books on eBay but had to sell out my inventory because I moved cross country into a smaller place. So I’m not new to the grind of sifting through junk, listing what’s sells, etc.

However, I’d be completely new to selling cards. In fact, I’m completely new to mtg in general.

So, questions:

  1. Do you think it’s viable to start out this year?
  2. Is it better to sell cheap cards in small lots or singles?
  3. I’m established on eBay; do you think I should sell there or start from scratch on tcgplayer?
  4. Any other advice?

Thank you!

Edit:

Damn, I honestly didn’t think I’d anger people with this post.

I’m just some disabled guy that just got into playing magic and likes collecting and sorting, but wouldn’t be able to afford to keep the cards in the long run, so I thought selling them after I was done sorting them would be a viable option.

The answer is a resounding “don’t do it”, so I won’t.

A little over a week ago, I went to the ER for vomiting three weeks straight, and while they were scanning my abdomen they found a Bosniak 3 cyst on my right kidney that’s 3.1 cm.

Just today I found a blood clot in my urine but the urine itself was clear and my right side hurts a bit, more when I breathe in.

I’ve had two urine analysis tests this past month, and neither showed any blood indicators.

I called my urologist’s office multiple times when I found the blood clot but no one answered, so I left them a message.

All that to ask, does anyone know if this is normal for a kidney cyst of that type and size? Should I be worried?

Thank you.
