Masters of Public Policy Sem 2 Start
Hi everyone,
I’ve received an offer for MPP (180 pts) and considering starting in Semester 2.
Questions:
For those who have done a postgrad / this MPP, would you recommend starting in Sem 2?
Specifically asking regarding the core papers as POLICY 702 - Economics of Policy and POLITICS 757 - Comparative Public Policy would have to be taken (along with 2 elective courses) before I have done POLICY 701 - Policy Analysis and Evaluation and POLICY 703 - Quantitative Methods and Analysis for Public Policy. Do you think 701 and 703 being taught first makes a big difference in taking 702 and 757?
Wasn’t a politics major for undergrad for context but did a Bachelor of Arts.
Would you recommend to start sem 1, 2027 (possible defer the offer) or do you think it is ok and 701 and 703 can be done after?
