Honeymoon - travel agent, Costco deal, or book on our own?

Hi everyone!

We are starting to plan our honeymoon for August/September 2027. Based on research I’ve done so far, we would do 10-12 nights across Bora Bora, Moorea, and maybe another place (Taha’a?). I’m great at planning trips myself, but I want this to be very stress-free. I’m curious if people recommend using a travel planner (I’ve reached out to Tahiti.com and Tahiti Travel Mate so far), or booking yourself, or buying the Costco travel packages? As of now, the Costco packages only seem to be available for next spring and are only usually 5 days long.
We’d also love to have excursions and honeymoon perks, which I’m not sure if it’s best for a planned to coordinate or the hotel.

I’m open to any recommendations for hotels and excursions as well! It seems like Sofitel in Moorea is one of the best options, and then I’m not sure for Bora Bora - Westin, Four Seasons, Conrad, or St Regis?

Thanks in advance for any advice!!

Kenya Safari’s - Serian Mara Ngare & Borana

Hi everyone - my mom and I are planning a 2nd safari trip (we went to South Africa 2 years ago and absolutely loved it. We went to Mala Mala and Ants Hill). This year we’ll be going December 25-January 4. Our travel agent recommends Kenya (he also recommended Tanzania for a private guide journey but my mom gets car sick).
I enjoy luxury and personalized experiences. I do have some anxiety with bugs in accommodations, so that’s something I have to consider. Our travel agent strongly recommends Borana for horseback riding safari, and then Serian Mara Ngare (Serian Original is booked up).

I would love anyone’s advice on these places or if you have any other recommendations! I did read a few negative reviews about Serian but it also seems like the most recommended option. It’s a lot of money so I just want to make sure we make the right decision before booking.

If helpful for any context of our preferences: ideally lots of wildlife sighting, personalized experience with good/outgoing guides who are also understanding (my mom can get car sick), luxury or semi-luxury accommodations (minimal bugs inside is ideal), and just an overall experience that leaves us so grateful for going! We are horseback riders so the Borana addition to the trip would be nice.
