Me 19F ,Broke up with my boyfriend (ex) of almost 1year .
Why I said war because at the end of the relationship it was nothing more than a war between mind and heart . Heart wanted to stay but mind couldn't take it anymore. Exhausted and broken . I tried my best to carry it but I couldn't anymore . After this I just feel so numb today . Ik I am gonna miss him but it's better than being treated like a doormat . Ahhhhhhh man I just have no words how to describe but the amount of disrespect and rudeness I have tolerated here . For the first time I choose my mental peace over the attachment. I felt dreadful while saying that I want to break up with him but yeah it was definitely important more than anything atleast my bottomline self-respect ( bachi hi nhi hai itne dino me inte kuch sehne k baad ) got saved .
I hope everybody out there finds love just not one like this . It's better to be single than finding yourself being treated like nothing after almost a year of being together
