FTM here and my baby is 7 days old. He has slight jaundice.
2 days back we saw some orange stains in his diaper and today his urine colour has been rustic/orange in colour since last 2 diaper change.
Perplexity says this is normal urate crystals which is there in new borns but not sure.
Just FYI - He is exclusively BF with 8-10 wet diapers as of now.

So the baby wardrobe/storage is not going to be in the same room, should I have a diaper caddy next to my bed?
Have seen enough videos which says it is needed and not needed which has made me confused.

In India, generally the belief is to buy things only once the baby is here. But honestly, the rush is crazy.
I want to know when did you buy crib/cot, car seats and big items.
Clothing has to be purchased of course before for hospital bag.

By which week were you able to set up your baby’s routine?
Ex - sleeping through most of the night and waking at this time. Sleep during this time of the day.
Would appreciate some tips that helped you. TIA
(FYI - We don’t have family staying with us so looking to set up routine as soon as we can)
We are looking for car seat options which can be used from new born stage (bringing baby home) to at least 2-3 years.
There are so many options available online (India) but we are confused as which really works.
