Being As An Ocean - This Loneliness Won't Be The Death Of Me
Ah, sometimes I wish lyrics weren't so relatable. But there's also a sense of companionship, beauty and solace in them. Throughout the toil, it is hope for better days that can carry us; we just have to find whatever anchors we have in the present to carry on
I'm just holding on at the moment, and sometimes that's the best you can do. However, songs like this help remind us that we're not alone. Sending a big, warm internet hug to anyone struggling 💛
Underoath - Catch Myself Catching Myself
Fantastic album. Sounds like Spencer was in a very dark place making it. DTGL, LITSOS and this album are such outlets for me, as it helps remind me that I'm not the only one who's experienced trudging wearily through uncertain and rugged landscapes in life.
Love UØ!
Texas In July - 1000 Lies
One heart beating to the footsteps stomping on the ground...
Home Ties - Southlakes
Have a lovely and restful weekend, guys!
The Color Morale - Steadfast
This album's been growing on me a lot recently.
It felt quite different to their first two (as a result of losing their lead guitarist), and while I still prefer those two, this is a great album. Really hope we hear something from them regarding new material eventually!
Haste The Day - The Perfect Night
Been listening to Haste The Day again recently after their new album Dissenter dropped. This was the album that got me into them, and I love it dearly.
I remember Jimmy's vocals took a bit getting used to, but once I grew accustomed to them it stayed in rotation for weeks on end. It's such a focused album and flows so well, with some lovely guitar work, incredible breakdowns and clean vocals that are so catchy you can't help but sing along. My favorite album of theirs. Glad to have the guys back!
Koyo - Barely Here
From their new album released on Friday! It's fantastic 👏💛
