Dull vs colorful dinosaurs

Had a debate with a friend over dinosaurs and their coloration when playing the Isle In terms of realism. Is it really such a stretch that I want my dinosaurs to have colors other than brown, gray, or dull green? Until recently our perception of dinosaurs were nothing more than just “big shrink wrapped lizards” and even that was popularized by shows and Jurassic Park. Now we know T-Rex may have had feathers (perhaps juveniles), Sinoseroptryx had a colored tail similar to a raccoons stripes, and Microraptor was a shiny metallic black like modern day ravens and starlings.

Sure a bright pink and green dinosaur walking around is a stretch but even among reptiles and reptile species as a whole there is a lot of color diversity. Even though reptiles are NOT in the same family as dinosaurs.

So my boyfriend’s cat Cebo passed recently and I want to reassure him that his friend of 13 years was very much loved and he did everything right. If anyone would like to draw the most FAT AND HAPPY cat in the sky please do 😊
