“Toro's Clash” - In a clearing in North America, about 68 million years ago, two male Torosaurus engage in a brutal confrontation for dominance [O.C]

“Toro's Clash” - Illustration produced for a commission.

In a clearing in North America, ~ 68 million years ago, two male Torosaurus engage in a brutal confrontation for dominance.

Torosaurus was a chasmosaurine ceratopsian that lived in the Late Cretaceous alongside iconic dinosaurs such as Triceratops, Tyrannosaurus, Edmontosaurus, Pachycephalosaurus, and Thescelosaurus.

Despite its strong resemblance to its closest relative, Triceratops, which fueled an intense scientific debate (including the hypothesis that Torosaurus might simply represent the adult form of that animal), current evidence supports that it is a distinct genus, with notable differences especially in the skull, which is longer and features large fenestrae in the frill.

Like its famous relative, Torosaurus was among the largest known ceratopsians, reaching ~9 meters in length and ~8 tons in weight. Its most impressive feature, however, was its skull: up to 2.77 meters long, the largest ever recorded among all known terrestrial animals! 🤯

Spicomellus - The Oldest and Weirdest Ankylosaur

Spicomellus is the earliest known ankylosaurian dinosaur, and has forced paleontologists to rethink many aspects of the group, including distribution, lifestyle, and evolutionary trends. Striking features include the meter long spikes fused directly to the skeleton, and evidence of a tail weapon existing before the ankylosaurid/nodosaurid split.

A Sick Xinjiangtitan is "Uplifted"

"Lifted"

A drastic change in the weather of the cold and temperate climate of the Qiketai Formation of the middle Jurassic. A small herd of Xinjiangtitan are alerted by this sudden change with their instincts telling them to move away from the area.

Unfortunately recent however, an old member of the group had fallen dreadfully ill causing them to get left behind, as the approaching winds had settled and formed a huge raging tornado. The ill fated member can only watch as it is lifted off the ground.

How's my Styracosaurus progress so far?

I messed up the leg positions, so now the right front leg will be in front. I also wonder if the legs are too tall; I hope not.

Just finished my first dinosaur drawing ever. “Never meet your heroes”.

My original idea was “the dinosaurs have come back, and you’ve left your door unlocked”. But then that would require the dinosaurs using doorknobs. So now the idea is they’ve come out of the tv after you left it on before going to bed. Shout out to my lady Dino nerds 🦖🖤
