Wondering if I should cut yet and where should I if so? My mom gave me this cutting about a year ago. I put it in a bright window and the new big leaves are new. Most of the old leaves that were on the cutting have fallen off now. A new branch/bud started growing where one of the old leaves was falling off.

I want this to grow thick and straight branching out higher up. I know will take years just wondering how I should be training it now.
