Just wanted to show off my Gollum Jade that I grew from a single leaf in 2019.

In 2019 I planted a single Gollum Jade leaf and grew this beast. The top picture was from May 19, 2019 and the bottom picture was taken today.

What am I doing wrong to my Jade tree?

I’ve had it for almost two years, and it was growing beautifully until this year, when it became wrinkly and sad-looking. I repotted it in a mix of 50% potting soil and 50% perlite and watered it thoroughly, but after two weeks, there hasn’t been any improvement.

Tiny white eggs

Does anyone know what eggs they are and if they might harm the plant? Unfortunately Google wasn’t able to help me properly.

Leggy - what should I do here or leave it!

This one - named Twig - is really long and only a sprout on top. I planted mid May. Not sure if I should just leave it and see what happens or cut it down!

My Jade Forest

This had been on my mind for a long time!
But I finally did it!!! 🥰
I was getting confused with each jade I had and needed to structure this healing and growth for each (in a nutshell - all these plants were given to me in a bin liner about to be thrown out so I rescued them)
They are doing well and thank you to all of you here I have learnt so much about looking after them.

They all officially have been given names now

#1 Atlas & Orion
#2 Titan & Pip
#3 Elder
#4 Aspen
#5 Cedar & Fern
#6 River & Brook
#7 Pine, Sprout & Lark
#8 Flint, Vale & Twig
#10 Sage

This way I can log the growth of each and take monthly pictures and know which is which. I can’t wait to monitor each one progress. 🥰
I love these guys so much and thought I would share with you all 🥰

How do I root this?

How do I root this? I keep on having to cut it again and again and it keeps on rotting. So I just propagate in water so it could grow roots.

First prune

I liked the grown out look, but I’ve had it for ten years and felt like it was needed so the stem could thicken up…Seems to be growing in well. Pruned back in April

confused new jade mom

So I got this little jade a few months back and it just seems so top heavy!! I was hoping it would grow into itself but no luck. Do I prune even tho it’s so small? And where at? Also should I support it somehow? I currently have it staked but it doesn’t seem to help much. I’m currently a very lost new jade mom.

Is this a root or something else?

I swear I saw this little tendril moving. Is it a root or some weird worm… 😅

Should I snip it? Or cut the stem and repot it as a new plant?

Time to start pruning yet?

Hi,

I got these 7 jade plants about a year ago and I am wondering if I should start cutting them back in order to shape them or if I should wait until next spring?

I'm also not clear on where I would want to cut these ones. I found a video that suggested leaving 6 or 7 rings at the bottom (don't cut any lower on the stem than that) if I eventually want to have a taller tree with a thick trunk. If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it.

Thank you.

Jade plant's new leaf shriveled up, will it still be okay?

Pruned this little guy about a month ago. One of the new growth leaves shriveled up, so just one question; will it still be okay and continue to grow?

My wife's unit of a jade plant

If our house caught fire I'm pretty sure she would pull the jade out before me (although our dog would obviously be first). It almost died two years ago when a door blew open mid winter while we were out of town and it was 0 F outside. We had to trim about a 1/3rd of it off after that incident, but it seems to be happy now! It's over 5' tall for reference. Bonus pic of our hoya bloom that we had to move outside last night because the (good) smell was so intense I was getting a headache.

Jade plant rescue

I sadly caused root rot after pruning and watering too much.

The leaves look healthy and there is some new growth.

The root ball (what is left) is not mushy, so I don’t think that the rot has travelled far.

The jade plant was a gift from my mom after moving into my first apartment and I would really like to safe it somehow.

What would be my best option?
Cutting the stem above the roots?

Should I put jades out in sun all day

I’m in NJ. Would my jade plans benefit from full sun from 10:00 am till dusk?

Small Steve and Tiny Dave

Tiny Dave is exactly one apple tall.

(The before picture from ~February 2024 included, Small Steve was the left one.)
