v2.7 just ended, but. Not long after the patch dropped, I saw plenty of reviews here and other places raving about the new story, calling it a return to form. Personally I enjoyed it, mainly because we got to see old characters that I really love, even voiced.

But there is one person that rubs me the wrong way, Ramiel, and more specifically her powers. Writing a compelling story when a character has something this OP will be a massive challenge, and writing an actual good plausible explanation on how someone can counter it without making player's eyes roll won't be easy. Hopefully the answer is better than, I'm MC therefore I am. Anyway this is literally the first patch so let the devs cook, let's see what they do.

No, my main problem is with the reviews I saw before playing the story. Ramiel's powers to me seem no different than the "wuxislop xianxlop" people spent the last year complaining about. I've only heard praise about this patch, where are all you people now? If Ramiel was called Yao Guang, there would be more complaints.
