2016 Hyundai Sonata Limiter 2.0T Possible Blown engine?
So I have the car in the title and it has 167k miles. I am not the original owner but I have maintained it with regular oil changes. Anyways, it’s throwing a bunch of codes and they are as follows: p0302, p2565, p0303, p0300, and p0014. It started drinking a lot of oil so I put in more oil as needed. But an hour ago the engine started shaking really badly, idling weird, knocking, squeaking (I think is the cylinder wall being scored), and a loss of power. I barely got it home and then I scanned the codes and checked the voltage (12.44v). I fear the cam jumped time and the pistons are meeting the valves. I don’t want to buy a new engine but at the very most I’ll rebuild it if need be. It was an 8000 dollar car so this is making me really worried as I need this car to go to college in August.
