Giving up on MangaNelo/NeloManga (whatever they call themselves now)
It's been a long time coming but i'm moving away from them, particularly as a my main site.
They have a lot of problems it's gotta be said. The site itself is unstable, often having issues with it's bookmarks or account systems, to say nothing of the fact that it seems every couple of months the site entirely goes down and at least once or twice a year they have to change their url.
But i was willing to put up with all that, my problem is, and why i'm leaving, is simply down to just how lazy those that upload to the site have become.
So often you get uploads where there is either content missing, the chapters have been uploaded in the wrong order, a chapter is cut up into a mess of incoherence, chapters are uploaded under the wrong name or number or from a different work, as well as the same work being uploaded multiple times under different names on different pages and some are updated and some are not so you have to follow them all, otherwise who knows when one will be updated and the other not.
And lately there has been a significant short fall in updates to many works on the site. Like some of the works i was following that had been on hiatus i was completely unaware had started their newest season and have released multiple chapters while others that had been updated frequently suddenly stopped despite them continuing to be released on other sites.
And all that's to say nothing of the fact that they constantly choose incredibly bad sources to upload rather than waiting a couple of days for a better quality version to be released (of course that's sort of a problem everywhere but some sites at least make it easy to switch between different versions, which this one does not).
Basically it's a fail all round as both the quality and reliability you need in order to both follow and enjoy these works has become a joke here. So i'm done. Not that they'll miss me no doubt. But i'm sharing this basically in case anyone else has been having as bad a time with them as i have and wants to share in the venting. ;)
