Good morning my dear bassists, I’d like some advice... For a while now I’ve been thinking about changing the color of my bass. As you can see, it’s a very cheap bass, so I’d rather avoid paying someone to do it (also because I really enjoy doing these kinds of things myself).I was thinking about painting it with spray paint, either gold or orange, without sanding or applying any coating, so that over time, as the paint wears off from playing, the black underneath would start to show through.

What do you think? Any opinions or advice? Thanks guys!
