Sport Shot League

I just bowled in my first sport shot league last night. Wow! Embarrassing. I am a 194 average in my house shot league, and I averaged a 129 last night including a game of 101. On a house shot, it obviously helps to be accurate, but I feel like if I miss my mark one board to the left or right, I still have a chance to strike. I was bowling on the 36' Viper, and I found one spot where I could strike, but if I missed my target by one board, it was disaster.

I anticipated it being much harder because of what everyone has told me, but what I didn't anticipate was how hard spares would be. I was 33% spare conversion, when normally I am 80-85%

Any advice from you guys? We leave the Viper pattern after one more week for the 48' Badger.

Summer League

I am getting ready to start a summer league. I live in the Midwest where it gets super cold and dry in the winter, and super hot and humid in the summer. Does the difference in humidity affect the lanes? If so, how should I attack it? Stronger ball? Weaker ball? Move feet and/or target? Or, is there really no difference?
