When i was a kid growing up in the 80's they where in everything but with the mass explosion (no pun intended)) of rechargeable lithium batterys. Are 9v even used anymore outside detectors? I mean i still have a drawer full of AA AAA even C's not so much d's and Yeah until i changed out the one in my co2 detector. I didn't have any 9v on hand and it was kind of a pain to find in town.
