Sold a boat & trailer, gave the wrong trailer papers, and seller ghosted. What are my options?

I had a boat on a trailer (Trailer A) that I was storing on a property and paying rent to the property owner. I sold the boat and trailer to a buyer for a few hundred dollars. This is a small boat and there are no registration papers associated with the boat. We completed the transfer papers for the trailer and the buyer made arrangements with the property owner to continue keeping it there.

A couple months later, I went to insure a completely different trailer (Trailer B) and found out I could not insure it, because it was in the buyer's name. I had given the wrong trailer papers and sold Trailer B instead of Trailer A.

I reached out to the buyer and asked to meet to change the trailer papers. They acknowledged the situation in writing and then ghosted me for a year.

The property owner now wants the boat and Trailer A removed because the buyer hasn't paid them any storage fees. And I legally own Trailer A, so I need to remove it.

The property owner has been very kind through this whole thing and I don't want to take Trailer A and dump the boat on the property.

I would like to resell both the boat and Trailer A. If the buyer ever contacts me, they can have their money back. But I am worried about legal repercussions of selling a boat that I already sold.
What is the correct thing for me to do in this situation?
