Mineral water, Tap water, Purified Water: same to steep (hot) or cold brew (traditional) tea?

I forget where the information comes from, but remember that somewhere mentioned mineral water is better for steeping or cold brewing tea, and per my personal experience, (not test), the cold brewed color always deeper than use "Purified Water".

Any idea?

Performance Condition Appears 2 Times in 1 Running Activity

Hi there,

During a running activity, I see the "performance condition" appeared 2 times, the first time came around the first 1km, the 2nd time appeared around 6km, anyone know a reason?

Do you consider "milk tea" or "bubble tea" as "Tea"?

I am new to this group and reddit, at the beginning I thought it's somewhere to discuss about traditional "Tea" in this /tea group, and today I see some milktea photos.

just ask, no offence.

I've been in running and trail running for 7 years, (but still new and not professional, always run myself, so this is my first actual time to ask advice online).

I used to run with trail running shoes with very soft outsole, such as TNF shoes.

I am about to change new shoes, went to Salomon and other gear shops, i was told the firmer outsole is better, reason is the softer outsole, the more tired feeling on runner's feet and lower legs, at that moment, I almost find the real reason why I had been feeling so tired though I've trained harder.

But after trying the firmer shoes, it's really feel firm, completely different to what I've had in the past years.

So, just wanted to ask your real-experience and feelings (I know on internet there are many articles writing for brand awareness, so I wanted to ask on reddit), is firmer better than softer for trail running?

Please share your real review.

Why my "cold brew" tea gets murky and looks germ?

I use to make "cold brew" myself, just put like Oolong or green tea into bottled mineral water and place into fridge.

I usually finish the tea within 48 hours, but one day I forgot about it. When I opened the fridge, I found that the entire bottle had become cloudy, and there were several white clumps at the bottom that looked like clumps of bacteria or cotton.

Anyone has same issue? And, is there anyway to avoid it? Or how to storage the cold brew tea longer?
