Tried chloramphenicol for 5 weeks, daily application as well as cleaning my eye thoroughly with simple soap. Things were looking good as I came to end of the treatment but less than a week after stopping and my eyelashes are starting to crust already. Very downhearted.
What is the next step?
I couldn't find a suitable wall mountable cupboard for a space I have so I have modified a LASTARE 60x42x100 cabinet to make it suitable for wall hanging. I have used a similar method to mount other cabinets to the wall and I do the same thing to a standard kitchen cabinet to increase it's load carrying capability.
The LASTARE is built as normal but a few of the back panel clips are left out. 50mm Screws are added through the top/bottom into the side panels to reinforce this joint as the standard fixings are only plastic cam locks.
A scrap piece of 16mm MFC is cut into tight fitting strips, these are glued to the back panel with construction adhesive and screws are added from the bottom and sides. This makes the cabinet incredibly strong and stiff.
When I mount it to the wall a batten will be first screwed to the wall that the top strips will hang on, very similar to a French cleat and then I will use 4 screws, one in each corner, that go through the back panel and the added MFC strips into the wall. This cabinet won't be going anywhere.
