Bars, Clubs, or Lounges on Tue/Wed Nights
I travel to Savannah for work every now and then and stay in a hotel on Bay Street. Typically I’m there Tuesday & Wednesday night and after work I’ll usually go for a late night walk (after 9pm) to find someplace to grab a drink. But the majority of the bars I go to are empty or have only 1 or 2 ppl there. I’m realistic so I know bars won’t be busy like a Fri/Sat night but wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions
For context, I’m a 40yo male. I don‘t really have a preference for atmosphere as long as it’s not a country music place. Anything else is fine. One year I stumbled into a place that had amateur stand up which was fun or other places had dance music and were a little more busy. I’d like to be walking distance to my hotel so somewhere near Bay or River street would be ideal.
I enjoy drinks at The Whiskey but that’s usually pretty quiet. I also like Abe’s but on those nights it’s a hit or miss as far as the crowd. I used to like the Treehouse but looks like they closed :(
One last thing I’ll say is I like heavy metal…it’s a long shot but if theres anywhere that plays metal that would be amazing!!!
