I’m on the The Last Argument of Kings, and while it’s not DNF territory, I’m excited to be done with it to start something new. I kinda started trudging throughout the second book and am determined to finish because I’ve gotten this far. Other than Glokta, the characters were just okay, and I wasn’t a fan of the overall pacing. Also, I felt parts were fairly predictable, like Jezel becoming king.
I started reading first law based on the overwhelming recommendations throughout Reddit, but I’d be curious if anyone in the minority like me has recommendations based on my experience with it.
