What is the purpose of obscure quest lines in these games?
Genuine question. There are so many obscure quests in mostly FromSoft games that are easily missable. Why put them in if most players won’t ever get to experience them unless they do things like Google “missable quests.” Don’t most people want to enjoy a blind play through? Some of them require you to do some really unintuitive things. Are they there for ng+?
