My thoughts on the mechanism of telepathy

I thought the understanding I found would resonate with many here.

So, all beings are naturally telepathic. This is the primary means of communication for animals still; they react to the emotions of other animals instantly, and are often synced in ways that cannot be possible through a purely physical means.

Babies naturally receive many types of energetic inputs, (which you can observe by watching how many ‘places’ their attention is divided between), even before they have developed a system of conscious thought, and are just running on intuition.

As they grow, their attention is constantly wired to fall on their immediate physical reality by the parents.

For me (and I’m sure for many of you here) my telepathy was still very strong when I was around 4 years old. However my parents went through a divorce, and my mother, who I lived with, was extremely depressed and became emotionally detached from me.

Because I was so energetically sensitive to everything, I couldn’t bear to witness the new life I was living in, where I had no father, and no mother either, as she would ignore me, spiralling in her own thoughts.

This led me to constantly reject my own telepathy/psychic abilities. It became too painful to actually see how the people around me felt, and what they were thinking and feeling. So I accepted the systems of belief of other people, despite it giving me less clarity. It was easier to be numb than to feel pain.

From this point I slowly became more and more repressed, until I lost the telepathic understanding completely. This led me to long periods of self-misunderstanding, confusion and depression.

Eventually when I started meditating, and with the aid of a psychedelic trip, my abilities began to return. I have confirmed my abilities countless times with animals, humans and plants (still new to this one).

Recently I began to really understand that we are naturally telepathic. I imagine beings like Adam and Eve (if they were real) to speak completely telepathically, and not have a language, but just ‘speak’ through their emotions.

It’s only our thoughts that pull us out of that state, and into systems of thought that make communication less efficient.

I have noticed that animals think humans are so strange, because they constantly see us reacting to phantoms of thought (our own beliefs and value systems), rather than reality (that exists prior to belief, and has a direct impact on our lives).

This also explains why animals are so overly cautious of us. They are really fond of people who are in touch with their intuition, but extremely cautious of every other human.

The key that I have found to telepathy is by really feeling our own energy. Resting inside our body rather than in our thoughts (which as a society, we default to).

This allows us to regrow our self trust, and allows our body and emotions to naturally communicate for us. This also transcends any physical barriers such as distance, obstacles etc.
In this state, we can communicate with everyone and everything.

Hopefully some of you find this interesting, and resonate with it!

Becoming a deckhand in 2026

Hi everyone.

A few years ago I did one of those courses where you get a list of yacht crew related qualifications.

I dock walked for a month around Antibes, Cannes, Monaco, Genoa, etc. but ended up returning home for multiple reasons and doing different jobs.

Now, I am 24, and looking to actually begin my yachting career properly. I was wondering how the industry is now?

I went out in 2023 and was told by multiple people that it was the busiest season they had ever seen for greenies.

Is it the same now or has it quietened down? Also is there opportunities for greenies in September-November in Europe, or would it be better to wait till next year March?

Is the industry more or less the same? I am thinking of going to Antibes to try dockwalking again, and committing to it for a lot longer. I have previous powerboat experience but that was a UK based job and non-yachting related.

Thank you!

Travelling to India to find a Guru

Im from the UK, and have been meditating in various forms for around 7 years now (I am in my early 20s).

I have had some extremely powerful experiences in my meditations over the years that have completely changed me as a person.

Over the least year, I have begun to have strong repetitive feelings from my heart to go to India for a long period of time.

This feeling is so intuitive and so intense that it has started to override all of my career ambitions and personal goals. When I get really deep into meditation, I hit a point where it feels like I must go to India to get deeper.

My family constantly pressure me to be more focused on worldly things, which right now seem to be pulling me in the complete opposite direction to my intuition.

I am considering travelling to Himachal Pradesh for a few months to focus on my growth, away from the expectations of family and society.

There are a few caveats to my plan though.

  1. I cant speak Hindi or Punjabi, only basics but not enough for even a detailed conversation.

  2. I don’t know exactly where to go or which path can help me. My own meditations have most closely aligned me with Advaita Vedanta, and also Kashmir Shaivism. I also have interest in Tantra and did some different mantras for a while, which were very beneficial for me. I have also been strongly drawn to Baba Balak Nath and the Nath Sampradaya as a whole.

  3. I have also been told by family in India that its dangerous to travel alone, especially to mandirs and remote places.

I would like a genuine guru that can guide me on what to do and where to go from here. I would love to just stay somewhere quiet for cheap or free (in exchange for working), and focus on my meditation.

I am wondering if anyone can give me advice on my plans. Are they unrealistic? Is it genuinely dangerous? I have faced dangerous situations in the UK but because of my vibe I am always able to get out of it.

Just looking for any guidance. Thank you.
