ROG Strix B650-A + Corsair CMK64GX5M2B6000Z30 — unstable even at 4800MHz, need to retrigger memory training every boot
Hi,
I'm having serious stability issues with this combo :
- CPU : Ryzen 7 7800X3D
- Mobo : ASUS ROG Strix B650-A Gaming WiFi (BIOS 3854)
- RAM : Corsair Vengeance DDR5 64GB 2x32GB 6000MHz CL30 (CMK64GX5M2B6000Z30)
System crashes and BSODs even at 4800MHz JEDEC with EXPO disabled. The only way to get a stable boot is to change the target frequency in BIOS to force a new memory training — after that it's stable until next reboot.
Haven't gone above 5400MHz yet. PowerDown disabled
- DRAM VDD/VDDQ : 1.35V
- VSOC : 1.25V
Is this a known compatibility issue with this board? Would switching motherboard fix it?
Thanks
