I am reading through the Suzuki factory service manual. I can see that they recommend full synthetic 10w-40 oil. Also, they recommend only replacing the oil filter every 3rd oil change. When i was in the car biz, that idea was reusing a condom. What does the rest of this community do? Are you replacing oil filters each time? Or doing as Suzuki suggested? Thanks!
Hello SVers! Thank you for the welcoming response to my introduction post. Since i plan on having this bike for a while, i am searching for the OEM Suzuki service and repair manual in physical form. I have a haynes manual or an OEM manual for most of the vehicles ive ever had and Id like this to be no different. I have found a free online version to use for now, but where would you guys buy yours? Western Canada if it’s relevant. Thanks!
Whats up, SV Riders!? Happy to have joined you guys. Love the bike so far. I need to sort a few things out to get it where i want. Im looking to source the two black fairings that go next to the seat 47211-16G00 and 47111. As well as the top cover for the speedo 34150-16G00-000 any help with where to look for used parts (Specifically in Western Canada) that would be great! Cant wait to be more active here.
